Wilford weighs as much as three cats, but his belly is so charming
A cat named Wilford weighs 12.7 kilograms and according to the calculations of his temporary owners, this is almost like three cats! Wilford’s healthy weight is half of his current weight, so the cat is slowly losing weight. He happily chases toys and other little things with his paw and waits for a permanent home to be found for him. He is now living in foster care in Washington DC, and he is a very big boy!

Now the cat is being helped to lose weight — after all, it weighs 12.7 kilograms, which imposes some health concerns. He weighs about the same as the local cat Dora (3.8 kilograms) and two other cats (each 4.3 kilograms) combined.
After moving to a new house, Wilford began to refuse food — this is how stress affected him.
In addition, during the examination by veterinarians, the cat was found to have other health issues that also need to be treated.
According to calculations, the normal weight for Wilford would be half his current shape — approximately 6 kilograms.
According to the temporary owners of Wilford, he is very playful — although his set of movements is limited due to his body weight. But often Wilford is too lazy to even eat.

His temporary owners hope that a new home will be found for this big boy as soon as possible, in which he will be groomed and cherished.
