When my wife left me, I decided to take a cat, which no one needs

When my second wife abandoned me, I fell into a wild depression. I didn’t whine or complain but just became unemotional and felt myself worthless.

Once I decided to visit my mother and there, at the entrance, I met a cat that was needless either. I had seen her before, I knew that she lived in a basement and that from time to time someone took her to live with her, and then she was thrown away into the basement again.
I thought it’s a good idea that a miserable person who is rejected anyone can perfectly coexist with a cat, which is also abandoned by people.

The beginning of life together was not smooth. It turned out that the cat did not have an easy life. She had improperly fused pelvic bones, a damaged tail and head bruises, and a wound in her neck.

I also knew perfectly well that the cat was purring for me, just because can feed her with Whiskas. But me and the cat need love, warmth and affection. And so, not trusting each other at the beginning, we gradually began to get used to living together.

And now six months have passed. And I can firmly state that no one has ever given me so much warmth and attention. Unexpected tides of tenderness (especially at 4-5 am), quiet purr and feline tenderness bring me back to life. I am so grateful to my cat for having her with me and would never want her to leave me.
