This sphinx’s name is Jerdan. He’s very wrinkled and creased, but that’s what made him a star

Wrinkles from head to paws, hairless skin, and a judgmental frown that pierces your soul are what have made Jerdan the cat popular on Instagram and other social media. And while this sphinx may not live up to the standards of what we used to consider adorable, appearances can be very deceiving. Jerdan looks like a villain plotting a devious plan, but he’s actually a loving and very affectionate cat!

When 47-year-old Sandra Filippi saw the 12-week-old pink wrinkled creature, it was love at first sight.

Now the 6-year-old Canadian Sphynx, who lives in Switzerland, steals the hearts of Internet users and all because of his unique appearance.

«His wrinkly pink skin, soft as a peach, and his eyes as blue as the ocean … I fell in love as soon as I saw him!», Sandra said.

Filippi said that at first most people are scared of Jerdan, but then they quickly change their mind, realizing what a sweet boy he is.

Sandra has two other sphinxes who are thinner and less wrinkly compared to Jerdan.

«Sphinxes should always be kept with other sphinx cats, otherwise they get very sad,» Filippi said.

But it’s not the cat’s company that Jerdan enjoys the most, but the human’s.

The cat is always around her, she said, and he loves attention and cuddles.

«He’s like a mild-mannered baby,» Sandra shared.

Some of his favorite activities, besides eating and sleeping, include bird watching and «talking.»

People on the Internet love Jerdan and compare him to an alien or a brain. Don’t think they’re not being mean, because the kitty does resemble both.
