Their Newborn Baby Became their Puppy’s Bestfriend
A two-year-old pitbull mixture Bruetus’s life in North CA changed significantly after the birth of a newborn baby Kayden. Before the newcomer into the family, Brutus was doing everything any other dog would. He was eating his favorite dog food, running around, and playing, and recently, he had to give away his favorite toy —a fluffy yellow sphere. He isn’t ready to quit chewing it. Here is what the family’s mother Bonie Micalk, says «Obviously, he realized what was going on with me even before my belly had swollen much. . He arrived every night and attempted to crawl into my bedroom.»
Turns out the puppy figured out that Bonie was expecting before she did.
She adds, «Then I became enraged with him after his actions. But now I see — he has become the building’s principal guardian and protected me.»
As soon as the infant was born, the family readily introduced the baby to Brutus. The doggy was happy to see the mom and little one arrive from the clinic.
Brutus wasn’t scared to take up the responsibility put in his hands from the very beginning. He made sure to keep an eye on Kayden constantly. The puppy was quick to figure out how to calm down the baby whenever he started crying. The parents were just surprised.
