The unusual baby zebra was born with polka dots instead of stripes

One of such interesting creatures of the wild is this sweet baby zebra.

This extraordinary being named Tira was preserved in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. She is hazel, with dots and has a bald tail different from other zebras.

As the wildlife specialists state, this unusual baby has a state called melanism. This happens due to the skin’s black pigmentation. And this condition can affect the animal’s life. The flock can exclude the unusual animal.

There were cases when the zebra with large spots on his back couldn’t remain alive in the herd. It lived only a few months.

Nevertheless, Tira with its polka dots is alive yet and we hope that this little cute baby will live a long time.
