The poor cat and her kittens were saved from the hard condition

In one of the courtyards of Brooklyn (New York), a stray cat was noticed in the street with her neborn kittens. A local resident saw the cat and, according to him, there were originally five kittens, but soon after birth, two died for unknown reasons. After that, the cat moved the three remaining kittens to a safer shelter under the old boards.

It was really dangerous and hard for the mother and her babies to stay in the street so the man turned to the humane society «Flatbush Cats», which is engaged in helping homeless cats in the area. The cat and her babies were brought to the shelter where they got proper care.

Later it turned out that help arrived in time, the kittens had medical problems that could lead to their death. All three had a respiratory tract infection needed a medical procedure to treat it.

Soon, due to the medical cure and attention of the staff, the kittens grew very fast and started running around when they were 4 weeks old. The little creatures began to be socialized and got prepare for adoption.

When the kittens grow up, they will find their owners. With the cat-mother, everything became not so simple. She was too wild and aggressive to live in a house with people, and the possibilities of the local shelter were also limited.

It was decided to sterilize the cat, but then return it to the place where it was found, while constantly monitoring it, feeding and caring for it, if the need arises. The cat will also be looked after by that kind local resident who originally called the humane society.
