The kind woman took the two old cats to spend the rest time of their life in love and care

7 months ago, two 14-year-old cats were brought to VitalPet Veterinary Center in Prosper, Texas. Their retired owner passed away and none of her relatives wanted to take her pets to their house.

For 14 years of living together, both cats had become like two drops of water, although they were completely different in character. The female was affectionate and sociable, and the male turned out to be rather stern and hissed at strangers.

In the vet clinic, the staff tried to find a new home for them, but no one was interested in taking in such aged animals. In the end, they stayed in the center and were occasionally released from their cages so that they could walk around the rooms. But it certainly wasn’t the life they deserved.

After 7 months, Karin Poplin from an animal sanctuary, which helped disabled and old cats to find homes, wanted to pick up the two senior creatures from the clinic.

So the adorable two cats were brought into their new spacious and much more comfortable area. They have been waiting for this for a very long time. The boy turned out to be a little angry, it took him a little longer to understand that nothing threatens him there. To help the cat relax, his caretaker gave him a quiet and peaceful place where he could feel himself safe and rested. Now the cat has become more friendly.

The girl is just glad that she can be taken a walk there and she has got used to her new surroundings. She is very friendly and easy-going.

The shelter has many older cats who can become friends for this couple, and volunteers work here to care for them. The female cat has already found a loving one with a beard, whom she adores and enjoys sitting on his lap.

Despite their age and the fact that these cats are no longer as active as in younger years, they are still wonderful companions and they all deserve to spend their old age in a warm place with people who love them.
