The kind dog helped a poor kitten with parallyzed legs to overcome the difficulties
A family from Alaska once saw a stray cat with a kitten in their yard. The cat ran away at the when seeing them, leaving the sweet baby there. The family took the kitten and noticed that his hind legs were paralyzed.
The kitten was then about 3 weeks old. He was given the nickname Harpurr. Soon the kitten ended up in a private cat rescue society and the founder of it Shannon took care of him.
When examined by a veterinarian, the kitten was found many to have medical problems and his paralysis was incurable. However, the baby was strong enough and fought for his life. Shannon was caring of him with great love and attention. He fed him every 2-3 hours a day to gain health and strength.
Th nice kitten gradually felt better though he couldn’t control his legs. He became active and playful. Volunteers brought him some toys but he seemed to need something else. So shannon decided to introduce him to his lovely dog Cinder.
Cinder herself was once a stray dog and was previously very friendly to other rescued cats and dogs. When she saw Harpurr, she immediately took him under her care and the kitten immediately covered herself in her shaggy fur and purred.
Soon the kitten was sleeping with Cinder in an embrace and did not leave her. Even when he grew up, he was still friends with the dog. Cinder was like her mother guarding him and loving him as a little child. Their bond was really special.
When Harpurr was about six months old, Shannon began teaching him to use a little wheelchair. The kitten mastered it very quickly and soon began even to run around the house.
Harpurr is still in the Shannon family and continues to be friends with Cynder. They are happy to spend their time together. And it is really wonderful to see them feeling great with each other.
