The hero dog saved his owner’s life from the poisonous snake

In June, Arizona resident Paula Godwin went for a walk in the suburbs with her golden retriever puppy Todd.

It was a warm sunny day and Paula was walking carelessly along the road when Todd suddenly saw something and jumped in front of the hostess, shielding her legs with him. And then something gray rushed out of the grass at the dog.

As it turned out, the puppy saw a rattlesnake and if he hadn’t protected Paula with himself, the snake would have bitten the woman’s leg. And so the snake attacked the puppy and bit him on the cheek, which quickly swelled from the bite.

After the incident, Paula took Todd to the veterinary clinic, where he was examined and told that his life was out of danger and he would recover soon. That same evening, Paula posted photos of Todd with a swollen cheek on her Facebook and wrote that the heroic puppy had saved her life.

Photos and Todd’s story quickly spread across all social networks and sites, becoming «viral». People admired the courage and bravery of the puppy.

It is really fantastic that the courageous dog risked his life to rescue his kind owner proving that he is the one whom she can trust and rely on.
