THE GEORGIAN SPENT THREE YEARS LOOKING FOR THE MISSING DOG, AND WHEN HE FINALLY FOUND IT, THE DOG JUMPED AND WHINED WITH JOY

In 2015, a 62-year-old resident of Georgia, Georgy Beresiani, lost his beloved dog named Georgie.

A white dog with black spots and a cropped tail got lost while walking on one of the streets of Tbilisi.

Since then, Georgy Beresiani has been searching for the missing pet for three years. He put up ads and personally walked the streets, but the dog disappeared without a trace.

Several times he was called by the phone number listed in the ads, but each time it turned out that it was another dog.

But at the beginning of October 2018, Beresiani received a call from a woman working at the Opera and Ballet Theater. She told him that she had seen a dog similar in description on Rustaveli Avenue, after which the man immediately boarded a bus and drove to the avenue.

When he walked a little on the sidewalk. then he saw a dog lying near a tree and immediately recognized it as Georgie. A touching video of a meeting between a man and a dog after three years of separation was later posted on YouTube and charmed hundreds of thousands of viewers.

«Georgie, is that you? It’s you, Georgie!» the man exclaims joyfully when the dog rushes to him, whining and wagging his tail, «Oh my dear boy!».

Georgie is spinning around her master, jumping up and trying to lick his face. He also missed me very much. He has a yellow tag on one ear, which means he fell into the hands of animal rights activists and was sterilized and marked as a non-aggressive stray dog.

Then Beresiani brought Georgie to his home, where the dog recognized other family members and was also very happy to see them.

And when he was released into the yard, he began to run around and bark joyfully, reacquainting himself with the places where he once went for a walk.
