The frightened puppy reached out her hand to a kind woman to ask for help

A kind woman named Jacqueline Colette decided to foster a dog from a shelter and was confused by the question whom to take among the numerous animals who really needed homes. But when she entered there she wasn’t aware that the right one, whom she would take, had already chosen her.

One of the little dogs named Donut managed to reach her hand out to the woman and ask for help. It was that very touching moment which connected them. The volunteers were shocked by the poor dog’s act. They stated that Donut had never shown such a reaction or sign of attention to anyone sicne he appeared there 11 days ago.

Donut had a difficult and unbearable past. She was constantly being trasported from one shelter to another escaping a fire and flooding in the former two shelters. And when she appeared in the new center she was so scared and weak. She needed to restore her mental and physical state. So the woman was filled with a great wish to help the puppy and took her to her house.

Their new life was truely hard at first. They had to get used to each other. Jacqueline was trying to do her best to make Donut feel comfortable and free. For the first hours the dog was shaking and didn’t know how to behave herself. But then when she understood that she was safe and protected she changed her attitude and began to feel better. She was excited to run in the yard and sleep there.

After two months Donut finnaly could admit all the care and affection her woman gave her and responded her with same love and devotion. They felt wonderful and happy together. The poor dog finally found a warm place and caring family she needed and deserved.
