The family went fishing in the strait, but instead of fish they got an unexpected catch — a cat

Sometimes the owners and their pets seem to be brought together by fate itself — this is how a cat appeared in the family of the American Steve Crews. Steve owns a boat that takes people fishing, and on one of those trips, he and his clients caught not only fish in the strait, but also a cat that was swept away by the current. At first he was confused with a turtle, but then it turned out that this is a cat, which turned out to be not at all in the place where these fluffies can usually be found.

According to the team, the cat was already barely floating on the water. People thought that the poor fellow was so far from the coast when he got into the water. Luckily, the cat was caught out of the water with a fish net.

He is now a bit out of his water adventure and has found a new home. He was taken in by the owner of the boat, which caught the cat. The rescued pet is still afraid of people, but drinks and eats food with pleasure.

He hasn’t been given a name yet, but the new owners are thinking about naming him Lucky (Lucky). And such a nickname for a rescued cat is great!
