The dog found abandoned kittens and became their «receptive dad»

Three weeks ago, Victoria from Maryland went out before work to walk her dog Turbo. There was a cool rainy morning and as soon as she left the house, the woman heard a thin squeak.

After a little searching, she came across a little red kitten lying on the path. She picked him up in her arms, but then the dog Turbo fell out of place and ran up to a pile of old leaves in the corner of the yard. There were two more kittens lying there.

The kittens were wet and froze a lot. The cats were not visible nearby and apparently she had not approached the kids for many hours. The kittens also seemed very weak and needed urgent medical attention. Victoria took a day off at work and went to the veterinary clinic with the kittens.

After the clinic, Victoria brought the kittens to her home and made a warm soft bed for them. There were three kittens, all the same light red with white spots of color.

The dog Turbo immediately began to spin near the kittens, wanting to also take part in their care.

The kittens were already quite active and with their eyes open.

Turbo constantly spends time next to these kittens and they quickly began to reciprocate him, playing with the dog and falling asleep next to her.

Victoria is not very surprised by that. She said that Turbo is a therapeutic dog (participating in animal therapy sessions) and recently she and Turbo went to visit patients with Down syndrome. Turbo is very affectionate and gentle with both people and kittens.

The dog always behaves very calmly so as not to scare nervous people and the same scheme of behavior works with kittens.

Kittens are growing up quickly and Victoria is already looking for their regular owners.
