The dog abandoned by her owners now lives with firefighters
The poor dog Ashley had indifferent owners who hardly fed or took her outside and after all abandoned her.
This lonely creature was saved by Erica Mahnken and her friend. They were told about the dog and learned that she was in a house in a terrible condition without electricity, water and food.
They immediately rushed there and saw Ashley in an awful state. She was skeletal, hungry and thirsty. It was so cold inside the house as the windows were broken and the miserable dog remained there lonely.
The good-natured couple took her and decided to bring to a foster home before they could find a forever family for her. They had friends in New York City Fire Department and knew that there used to be a dog. So they asked the firefighters to keep her until they managed to search for a proper place for her to stay.
Ashley was happy with this plan. She began to wag his tail, greet people there and was extremely joyful.
After some time the team called Mahnken and told that they were ready to adopt the fine dog. They really loved her and got used to her. She also adored them much and felt herself at home there.
The woman was overjoyed. When she came there she noticed that Ashley really felt protected and warmed there with her best comapanions.
Now she lives in the firehouse. She is with men all the time eating, going on the truck with them. She even has a special seat there.
It is unbelievable but the dog feels great there surrounded by her wonderful friends and the staff cares about her with warmth and affection.
