The disabled dog in the shelter loves to cuddle his favorite toys

Joey is a 3 years old Chihuahua who lives in the Vintage Pet Rescue center. And though he doesn’t have front legs he feels great an lives perfectly there.

The founder of the shelter Kristen Peralta is amazed by his energetic attitude. She notices how he behaves as without being separated from other dogs. He is the happiest one among them. He likes to play with them and also has favorite toys he plays and sleeps with.

Joey is so lovely and active. When he wants to sleep he looks for a cosy place to lie and cuddle his adorable Lamb toy that is always with him. He really gets fun with playing it.

The shelter is focused on the care of the dogs that are older and with special needs. And Kristen’s aim is to be sure that Joey feels comfortable and protected like others. It is really joyful to see he is getting well with everyone easily.

After Joey is fitted for a wheelchair she will be ready to get adopted. And finding a caring family will be the shelter’s great achievement.
