The child left his dog in the park as his parents treated him cruely

A year ago Mascotas Coyoaca’n received a call warning that a dog was tied to a bench in the park with a note next to him.

The staff immediatley arrived and was amazed to learn that the child brought his lovely dog there and chaned him to bench as he was sure that some kind and caring people would take him. His parents abused and treated the dog harshly.

In the note a child wrote in Spanish:» Hello, I’m Max, please adopt me.
It was difficult for me to come to this decision but I abandon my dog as my family treats my dog cruely. So please, be kind and adopt him. And if you can’t, leave this note next to him in order someone careful and kind wanted to take him».

This was really heartbreaking. The volunteers tried to approach the dog who was aggresive. But it was just a result of being scared and confused. It took 2 hours to comfort him and get off the bench.

The rescuer had to walk with the miserable abandoned dog to make him calm down and trust them. So she managed to soothe him and take him into the car. She decided also to rename him as the name «Max» would remined him about the harsh days. So he was called Boston.

The team prepared a garage for Boston as they don’t have place to accomodate the rescuing pets. They make proper conditions for them to stay before they find forever homes.

So the dog was tranfered to tha garage where the woman tried to feed him, be close to him so that he could no longer be afraid of humans. She managed to calm him and it seemed that Boston became more peasful and fine.

After that the dog was brought to the basic training where he learned some commands and the way to socialize with other dogs.

Now the dog is in a good mental and phisical state and is ready to be adopted by a caring and loving family. We hope that he will find a perfect home to be protected and happy.
