Stray dog jumped into a car and it was the best decision in her life
There’s a saying you’re perhaps familiar with if you love dogs: sometimes you don’t choose the dog, the dog chooses you.
Bill was traveling from Arkansas to Missouri, and he stopped at a rest stop to get rid of some trash and use the WC. Imagine how astonished he was when he came back to his car and found a stray dog on the front seat.
The poor pup was scrawny and exhausted.
It was clear that the dog needed help, and the poor creature found the perfect human for her.
Bill decided to let the dog stay and fed her. Interestingly, Bill already had 3 rescue dogs at home.
While driving home, Bill told his wife about their new friend. She loved the idea of adopting the dog. Now the dog is called River.
Arriving home, River refused to leave the car. They thought she probably had lots of bad things happen to her. Bill tenderly took her into the house.
River was fed and washed and got a cosy sleeping place. The following day she was tested by the vet and it showed some neck and face lacerations. Thankfully, after receiving medical treatment, she was completely healthy and began to live her best life.
