Tia Powell had the most outstanding encounter with a squirrel the other day. As she was walking past the park in Virginia, it stopped her way.
Powell told The Dodo, «She went up to me and grabbed my sweatpants.» I was stunned and unable to speak.
Her first instinct was to shoo the rude animal away, but the squirrel had other plans. She was bold enough to return, making Powell interested to understand what was happening.

Powell said. «Something told me to see what would happen, so I stopped and watched her.»
Fortunately, she stayed.
After gaining her undivided attention, the squirrel guided her to a sacred trial where someone more important was waiting for them.

«She had a baby squirrel with her, and the little one was hurt,» Powell said.
She was quick to pick up the baby from the ground and take him to a safer place in the undergrowth as she had no idea what else she could do.
While helping the little squirrel, the mother seemed calm, and Powell assumed that her mission was completed. She was free to carry on with her day.

Soon enough, the woman found out that the couple was following g her once again.
It turned out they needed more assistance than she had already provided. A walking danger was waiting around the corner. A black cat was
strolling in the area.
«I chased the cat away,» Powell said.

Although thinking that the baby’s injury was a minor one, she still assumed that it slowed him down and made it risky for him to stay on the ground. Powell opted to inform the police and wildlife expert about the squirrel’s condition.
They came to the decision that lifting the squirrel to a higher place would be the safest option.
«We managed to move the mother and child to a different park section with more trees. They succeeded in making the entire ascent, according to Powell. They appeared to be joyful.

Now, she was content that the little one’s leg could heal without any danger.
A few days later, Powell visited the park with her own children.
Powell recalled, «I turned my head and there were two squirrels at the edge of a branch gazing right at me. My youngest kid exclaimed, ‘Look, there’s a squirrel. «I returned a smile. That was probably the same pair of squirrels.
