She bought an old bus for a penny. And turned it into her dream home
We often dream of going on a trip around the world or just going abroad for a week or two. But despite this, we always want to return home, where comfort, warmth and native walls await us. A young girl named Jessie Lipskin decided to kill two birds with one stone and created a motor home. To do this, she bought an old beat-up bus for pennies and immediately set about converting it into the house of her dreams.
For several years, Jessie worked to create a space from the 1966 bus that could safely be called home. Also important was the comfort of the motor home. After all, in it the girl planned to travel.
Here’s what the bus looked like at first:
Inside, he looked more depressing
But the frame of the bus itself was strong. Jessie had to improve it a bit
Then Jessie sheathed all the walls with wood, and the ceiling with clapboard. In such an extraordinary home, the girl had to make furniture on her own. Jessie laid a parquet board on the floor.
Externally, the bus has also undergone changes. There is no trace of the old rust and dull paint!
The result is amazing!
Everything is here for coziness and comfort. The bus has a big bed
To save more space, Jessie placed storage boxes under the bed.
A closet with all the necessary things also fit.
The kitchen has everything: a countertop, a sink with a tap, a stove and drawers for food storage.
There is even a refrigerator here. This shape and height are due to the original kitchen.
Jesse has a shower and a large mirror
With such a house, you can safely go to meet the sunsets!
All reincarnations of the bus cost Jesse a round sum — $ 70,000. However, looking at the result, you understand — it was worth it!
