There is a misconception about the aggressive behavior of the Rottweiler breed, but, in fact, these dogs are very affectionate, moreover, they can also be heroes.

Recently, a family of Rottweilers rescued an elderly retired woman who had gotten lost on the school playground. It was a cold January evening when David and Jack, his nephew, decided to go for a walk with their four Rottweilers, Billy, May, Gerald and Tilly.

David has to take his dogs out for a walk at night because of the hostility of his neighbors.

So, it was about 1 a.m. when they were near the school playground, whose doors were, thankfully, open, when the dogs ran out into the field and stopped by the bushes and started barking until David approached.

Apparently they had found something. Soon David and Jack found an old, confused woman sitting shivering. It looked like she had gotten lost and couldn’t get back after sitting there for more than 15 hours. She was freezing.

One of the female dogs started licking her, refusing to leave the old, helpless woman until her human came.

She was very lucky that the dogs found her, otherwise something worse would have happened, she might not have survived if she hadn’t been rescued.

David called an ambulance and the injured woman was taken to the hospital. David was later told that the old lady got off the bus at the wrong stop and got lost.

Thanks to the heroic dogs, hopefully she will recover soon and live in safety and peace.
