When the elephant orphanage announced the birth of a twin elephant, environmentalists and wildlife enthusiasts around the world rejoiced. The birth of two elephants in good health was unusual, as they are the first twin births in the country in almost 90 years.


Two magnificent newborn elephants were born in the orphanage of elephants, both boys. They are indeed in good health, but they were born smaller than usual.

However, according to media reports, the last time twin elephants were born was in 1941.

The mother elephant is in its second pregnancy. A female elephant can have about four cubs in her lifetime.
