After having teeth pulled out by former owner puppy is now ‘living his best life’
It is really unimaginable how savage some owners can be to their pets.
But fortunately, there are compassionate people who are ready to do their best to offer these animals another opportunity, giving them love and care they deserve.
On February 23, Royal Animal Refuge, in Tyrone, Georgia, shared a heartrending story about a puppy who came into urgent care: a nine-month-old pup who had his teeth pulled out by his former owner.
It is unknown who did such a stony-hearted thing to the poor dog.
The Royal Animal Refuge took him in, and in spite of everything he had suffered he in no time stole the hearts of the shelter workers.
They named the dog “Toothless,” after one of the herioc dragons from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise who overcame many struggles and obstacles,” they said.
After arirving at the shelter, the pup was diagnosed with parvo, a virus that can cause illness in pups. He is now getting a trestment.
Fortunately, the shelter got donations from volunteers to help fund Toothless’ medical treatments, and the puppy got better.
Between losing his teeth and struggling with parvo, the dog has surely been through a lot.
As stated in an update from Royal Animal Refuge, Toothless was adopted by a foster family.
They share photos of the dog in his new home, proving that in spite of everything he hasn’t lost his gorgeous smile.
The workers said thank you to his new owners and everybody who lent a helping hand to make this adorable animal the happiest pet.
