Pit bull taken from the shelter can’t stop hugging his new owner

Despite the fact that dogs are considered loyal friends of man, there are also those breeds that cause only fear and apprehension because of their aggressiveness and strength.

As a rule, this applies to pit bulls, as they cause associations only with negativity. But practice shows that it is not always necessary to pay attention to stereotypes.

Kayla Filun, a student from Philadelphia, made a real feat, which allowed to save a life and gave her a new faithful friend. The girl worked for a long time as a volunteer at one of the dog shelters. She helped the animals and the staff, trying to do a good deed for everyone.

One day, a pit bull named Russ came into the facility. Kayla noticed that he had no fur on his tail and was very thin. The student said that from the first moment she saw the dog, there was a special bond between her and the dog that she felt right away.

Kayla knew she wanted to take Russ home in no time, without wasting a minute. And the reason wasn’t just because of affection or his beauty. The shelter was putting weak dogs to sleep, and the pit bull was just that. The staff had already had to put to sleep 15 dogs, so they couldn’t wait.

The student knew quickly enough. She immediately gathered all the necessary documents, went to the shelter, and came out of there with a faithful friend. Russ got into shape and became a very handsome dog, as if he had never been sick! Soon Kayla noticed that the pit bull was trying to cuddle her and just lay down as close as possible.

The girl posted a picture of their tenderness online, and it quickly went viral on the Internet.

Then Kayla decided to regularly share moments of her and Russ’ life with her family and friends. And the student was not mistaken — now her pit bull and his ability to give tenderness have become famous all over the world!
