These wonderful creatures live in Japan, on the island of Kyushu, but this is not the only place where you can see this beauty, even they are located in Siberia and even in some places in Europe.

The Japanese squirrel does not hibernate, unlike similar rodents, but sometimes in winter it still falls asleep without awakening for about a week.
