People went to comfort the shelter animals instead of being outside on 4th of July

It is well-known that dogs and cats are afraid of loud noises, especially the bright fireworks sparking in the sky on the celebration days. One of these is the 4th of July. The animals in shelters are unprotected of such sounds and so the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control came up with a wonderful idea to invite people to the center and be with animals during the firework.

Animal lovers really admired the concept and willingly visited the shelter to comfort the dogs and cats there. They even brought chairs and blankets with them. The staff provided them with treats, toys and other games for occupying the sweet creatures. The united efforts gave their result. It was a great experience for the people and a huge support for shelter animals.

The participants were reading, singing and playing with their four-legged friends. Some of them sat and fed them. It was so amazig as the animals love attention and care. They were focused on their caretakers and forgot about the firework.

The shelter’s strategy was really a useful one. They reached their goal to make the animals feel comfortable and calm. It was also productive for the people involved in the project as they learned about the problems of the animals living there and wanted to adopt them. The idea was so precious for everyone.
