Peolpe are having trouble believing this animal is really real
This uncommonly fat frog has gained its glory on the internet — and it’s obvious.
His slick body and imposing small face are so impressive that a lot of people doubt if this animal is real.
Just take a look at him.
A lot of rumors have been spread online. Some people are supposing that he’s some sort of shell-less turtle — or maybe the result of a child’s ceramics project.
But, as it’s come to light, neither of them are correct.
On Twitter, Jodi Rowley, a biologist, came to a decision to dispel any doubts and unveil the animal’s real identity.
«This frog is a blunt-headed burrowing frog (Glyphoglossus molossus),» Rowley says. «This species spends nearly all its life below ground expecting rain.»
Believe it or not, the frog’s pulpy body is a unique ability to prevent possible danger. According to Rowley, the frog seen here is «holding its breath in order to look huge and spooky.»
Nevertheless, it has the opposite outcome guessing from the comments online.
And it’s really difficult to disagree.
