It is evident that like other wild animals African elephants are endangered as well.
Every year numerous elephants are chased due to their »merits», leaving their babies orphaned and poor.
Providentially, these orphan babies can be protected and healthy in Nairobi Elephant Orphanage in Kenya.

The careful and devoted group of animal rights advocates does everything for the elephants to be comfortable and safe. One of them is Dame Daphne Sheldrick- a good-natured woman who dedicated her life to help the orphan animals and look after them.

For about four decades she and her team fed and cared about the little elephants and gave them an opportunity to return back the forest.
Besides, she created a new milk formula that is much similar to mother elephant’s milk.

She states that apart from the volunteering she learnt a lot from these kind creatures how to live and overcome difficulties.
Realizing the hardship and struggling baby elephants bear she was taught to be stronger in life and pitiful to others.
