Once a man saved a she-wolf and her cubs, and five years later there was a touching meeting

In the 1940s, in Alaska, an amazing story happened.

Looking closely at the animal, the man realized that it was a she-wolf and she was nursing, so somewhere there must be little wolf cubs. He didn’t immediately know what to do. All that came to his mind was to go look for the cubs. Next to the wolf, he saw footprints and decided to try to follow them, perhaps this way he would get to the puppies. After walking a couple of meters, he found that there were already more tracks, and then a wolf hole in the bushes began to be seen. As he got closer, a soft cry could be heard. «These are wolves!» flashed through his head.

There were four small and hungry wolf cubs in the hole, they were scared and confused and wanted to see their mother. The man did not think long, he took them and put them in his bag. When he returned to the she-wolf, she immediately smelled the children and howled. The man released the babies from the bag and they immediately began to climb with their little legs to the mother.

First of all, they greedily began to drink milk. But unfortunately, the animal was still in the trap and suffered greatly from this. But every time a person wanted to approach her and free him, she began to growl, she could not trust a stranger. In addition to the wound, the she-wolf was very weak and hungry. The man took out his food supplies from his backpack and gave one can of stew to the she-wolf, who ate it without looking.

The man decided that he would not give up and try to enter into the trust of the animal and still help her free herself. Next to them he set up a tent and arranged an overnight stay there. The puppies accepted him immediately, they began to lick his face playfully growl and jump. So two days passed. The man fed the she-wolf, talked to her, and she watched him. One day he still decided to try to stroke her and was very glad that she no longer growls. However, he did not take decisive action.
Waking up in the morning, he fed both her and the puppies, the she-wolf watched all this. Then he still decided to put his hand on her paw, which was in a trap. And she accepted it without hesitation. And the man was able to open the trap. The animal quickly jumped up and limped.
How happy the man was, he thought that she would now go to the forest with the children, but the she-wolf approached him and began to lick her hands. He decided to go with them, after walking some distance, ahead of them they saw a pack of wolves. The man decided to leave his friends with them and began to leave, only turning around in farewell and waving his hand, seeing how all five were looking after him.

Five years later, the man again ended up on this island, the weather was fine and he decided to go for a walk to that very fateful place, he was prompted by such nostalgia. Coming closer, he suddenly heard a howl and saw an approaching silhouette, he recognized her, she too …

She walked over and sniffed the man and licked his hand. Then he saw four more adult wolves approaching them, these were her children, whom he had once saved. They stood like that for a while, and then the she-wolf left. He never saw her again, but every time he heard a howl, he remembered an amazing story from a life that warmed his heart so much.
