“Noah started wearing dresses when he was two,” how Megan Fox raises a confident child
Megan Fox was one of the first celebrities to allow her sons to express themselves through clothing, namely wearing women’s dresses and skirts if they wanted to. And although now the media is more often discussing the extravagant fashion antics of Charlize Theron and Naomi Watts’ sons, Megan is not changing her parenting principles.
Noah makes up his own outfits and designs his own clothes. He’s a very talented kid, but he’s only six years old. He’s really involved in fashion, and yes — he likes wearing dresses. I got him into the most liberal school, for hippies. But even there they tell him, «Boys don’t wear pink,» «Dresses aren’t for boys.» We’re going through all that now, I’m teaching him to be confident, no matter who says what,» Megan told the TV show.
The actress revealed that at one point Noah stopped wearing dresses, but it didn’t last long and he started wearing them again.

He came home from school and I asked him how it went. He replied, «Well all the boys started laughing when I walked in, but I like dresses too much, so I don’t care.»

It’s good for him,» Brian told Hollywood Pipeline in a 2017 interview.
Fox worries that she can’t control how other people react to her children, or what the kids who go to school with her sons are taught. The actress does not post pictures of her children on social media, though she is very proud of them. For example, she called Noah an incredible pianist who can learn a Mozart concerto in just an hour.

«I want people to see it, but I also don’t want the world to have access to his gentle soul and say what we all know they’re going to say. <… > I have a child who is suffering. I have a lot of concerns about that because I just want humanity not to be like that,» the actress said in an interview.
And both Megan and her ex-husband, Brian, are doing what it takes for their three children to grow up that way.
