Man walking dog sees bag moving and finds abandoned chihuahua inside
A kind man walking his dog near the railroad tracks saw a bag moving and heard something inside after noticing his dog reacted to it. He immediately picked up the bag and brought it to the shelter. Inside was a young female dog.
The shelter team directly opened the package and found inside a young female Chihuahua drenched in her urine. The dog was visibly shaken and lucky to be alive.
The horrific act of animal cruelty has been reported to the police department and the regional animal shelter is asking to be contacted if anyone recognizes the dog or has information on who may be responsible for abandoning it.
As for the Dog, she is now clean, and safe and continues to feel good in her foster family. The shelter wrote that they are so grateful for its support of the dog! She is currently not available for adoption and is comfortably resting with a foster family. Although she is not yet ready for a new home, they have many other dogs that are.
