Homeless dog breaks into rescue looking for help

Paige Graham has 20 animals with special needs at her The Isle of Misfits Farm Sanctuary.

One day her mom went out on the porch of the farm and saw that the netting on the door was totally ripped off. She thought it was strange, then reailzed there was a dog sitting on the porch just walking around.

It was obvious, that the dog, later named Randy, was looking for help, but didn’t know how to ask for it, so she broke into the house. When he spotted Graham’s mother, he got frightened and changed his mind.

He got away, but returned hours later when Paige was outside.

Although the poor dog was a bit anxious, Randy knew that rescues were where he needed to be to receive the help he needed.

Once she put Randy on a leash, it was clear he had an amazing nature. He didn’t seem to understand petting or belly rubs, but would snuggle up to her with his whole body when she stroked him.

Graham immediately recognized Randy and remembered that she had seen him running around the farm before. Randy was covered in fleas and had several injuires that needed fixing when he showed up at the emergency services. Paige took him to the vet, where he was given the care he needed. She couldn’t keep him on her own, but luckily she had acquaintances that could help.

«I have no clue how Randy found my home or why he was so insistent on coming back, but I’m very glad he did,» Graham says. «He is now being pampered every day, and I couldn’t be happier. He is the most adorable dog and deserves a loving home that will look after him forever.»
