Homeless blind cat found a home for her and her kittens
When a man visited his parents, he spotted a cat with crusted eyes. She was unable to open her eyes. He went after her and fuond 3 kittens in the den.
The mother realized that her kittens needed help, so she led somebody to them.
The man instantly got in touch with Coastal Bend Cat Rescue, and they in no time agreed to arrange a visit to the vet. All the cats had health problems and everybody was so happy that they were found just in time.
Mother cat had bad eye infections and was given a shot of antibiotics. Rescuers were anxious about the health of the 1-week-old babies, so they made room in a home with an experienced mama/baby foster for the mother and her children.
The cats were named after board games: Mama Clue, Candyland, Monopoly and Chutes and Ladders.
She is a splendid mom. In spite of being blind she was very devoted to her children. She would guide her foster mom when she looks for her babies.
The brave mother cat has finally relaxed now that she’s safe in her foster home. When the adorable animals are strong enuogh, they will all be ready to find their forever homes.
We are pretty sure the best days for these adorable creatures are yet to come.
