«Helen and the boys»: what the actors look like after 25 years and what they do now

We remember the 90’s with interesting foreign soap operas. In addition to «Santa Barbara» and «Only  Maria», the French TV series «Helen and the Boys» appeared on television. This series won the hearts of young people, because it told the story of young students who fell in love and chased  their dreams. Now the actors, like the fans of the series, have changed a lot. We have searched what the actors are doing nowadays.

Helene – Helene Rollet (1966)

The actress refused to star in the continuation of the series and decided to devote herself to music. She released many albums and to this day does what she loves. The actress  never got married, but has two sons, who she adopted in Ethiopia.

Nicolas – Patrick Pyudeba (1971)

Patrick starred in the continuation of the series, after which he was invited to bigger projects. He connected his life with television. Patrick is known as a screenwriter for TV shows and theatrical performances. And now he is broadcasting on French TV. He married but got divorced pretty soon.

Katy – Kati Andrieu (1970)

Katy decided to change her profession and after the end of the series, went into the modeling business. She starred for advertising companies. The actress has two children with co-star David Proulx. Now she is married to a French lawyer.

Etienne — David Proulx (1968)

The role of Etienne was the only  role ever given to David Proulx. After the television series, he was not invited to any other project. David decided to retrain and become a professional fashion model. And after a divorce from Katy, he became a photographer. His works has been exhibited in France and all over Europe.

Joanna – Rochelle Redfield (1962)

The role of Joanna brought immense popularity to the actress. She did not stop there and devoted herself to cinema. Rochelle continued to play in movies and TV shows. She also works for French television. The actress has four children.

Christian «Cree Cree» — Sebastien Roche (1972)

The actor, like his colleague in the series Helen Rolle, devoted himself to music. He successfully records albums and is engaged in producing. Sebastien appeared in several projects on TV and even performed in  theater performances.

Benedict (Bene) — Laura Guibert (1968)

Laura Guibert has always believed that painting is her calling. Therefore, after filming the series, she devoted herself entirely to painting and left TV forever. Now she is a successful artist who transfers her knowledge and skills to her students. Laura is married and has two daughters.

 José — Philippe Vasseur (1966)

Phillipe played in the continuation of the television series and was further invited to some more projects. However, he soon realized that cinema was not his calling and left the industry. Now Philip is a successful entrepreneur, engaged in interior design and renovation business

 Lali — Lali Menian (1968)

For fashion model Lali, the role in the TV series «Helen and the boys » became a debut. She starred in the continuation of the television series, as well as various other projects on French television. Now she is broadcasting on TV, along with Patrick Pyudeba.

Sebastien – Sebastien Curiveau (1968)

Sebastien was the only professional actor in the cast of the series «Helen and the boys.» After the end of the television series, he actively acted in films and serials. He was married but then got divorced. The actor is raising his only daughter Luna.
