Heartbroken elephant walked 15 miles to say goodbye to his caretaker

It is an emotional moment when a grieving elephant appears to spend his last respects to the man who has cared for him for decades. It took almost two hours for the elephant to travel 15 miles to compliment his loved one for the last time!

Damodaran Nair, also known in his community as an Omanchetian, has cared for vulnerable elephants for almost six decades. He loved all these special beings more than anything, but with one of them, the caring person had an incomprehensible connection. There was a father-son relationship between him and an elephant named Brahmadatan.

A few days ago, 74-year-old Damodaran died. One of his last wishes was to see his old friend again. Unfortunately, his wish was not granted, but the faithful elephant came to say goodbye to his best human friend one last time.

The elephant appears at Damodaran’s house for a touching farewell! The moment made everyone burst into tears, including the curator Brahmadatathan. “When Brahmadathan collapsed at the funeral, I couldn’t bear it,” the man said. «They loved each other like no other!»
