He was a dog person but he took a cat from a shelter beacuse he couldn’t resist her charm
2 years ago, an Alabama resident, who considered himself a dog lover and not a cat lover, made a decision to get a pet and walked into a shetler. He wanted to adopt a puppy, but ended up adoping a very affectionate tortoiseshell-colored cat.
He was coming to Virginia for military training. He was driving home and on the way he heard an announcement on the radio that a shelter was urgently for owners for the pets they were keeping. It was reported that they were downsized due to a heavy snowstorm and couldn’t get to the shelter.
The guy who told the story briefly on Imgur under the nickname «spamwisejamkey» went on to say that after that message, he thought it would be a good idea to get a puppy. But when he finally got there, all the puppies and the adult dogs were already taken. Only a few cats remained.
It was great that those dogs found a new home so quickly. But he was hesitant to go back without them, and he was pointed to a room where he found a couple of cages with cats sitting in them. One of the cages with these fluffy lumps was in the very corner, and to show me the animal, an employee had to work hard to get that cage out.»
