Frisky elephant cub won’t go to sleep goes viral
Children are not thrilled with early bedtime, so they try to delay it as long as possible, unlike adults who will do anything for a good night’s sleep. As it turns out, animals also resist going to bed, not just human babies.
Recently, an adorable baby elephant wowed the Internet with its extremely cute way of protesting when caregivers announced that it was bedtime. The moment took place at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a baby elephant rescue group in Kenya, and went viral after the group shared it online.
In the touching video, an elephant cub named Kinyei struggles to convince his caregiver that it’s playtime, not sleep time. However, the caregiver is not very impressed.
«Kinyei just isn’t ready for bed,» the group wrote in the video description.» She’s had her evening bottle of milk, her best friends are already tucked away in the next room, the nursery is hushed around her… But this cheerful girl saw a window of opportunity to protest sleep — and she climbed right through it!»
