Firefighters saved Mountain Lion Cub, the Baby couldn’t Stop Crying
A few days ago, a crying kitty- a mountain lion was taken to the Zoo in Auckland. The baby was lucky to stay alive, surviving the fire. His mom died, and he was rescued by firefighters.
The baby was immediately taken to the Zoo’s vet, who has already assisted more than thirty mountain lions.
It turned out the little one is less than six weeks old, and he weighs not more than 1,5 kilograms. He severely burned his paws and fur on the muzzle, and his eyes were always watery from the ashes. It is essential to mention that the x-ray revealed the absence of crucial injuries and that her lungs were not attached. It shows that he is going to be fine, but he won’t be able to return to wildlife soon.
His wounds were mended, eyes washed and dripped. Currently, a lion cub is fed by syringe formula milk. Soon, he will be given meat.
