Dog stuck deep inside storm sewer has given up hope of ever being found

As an explorer, Michael is challenged to risk into the little-known corners of city landscapes to discover and document what is hidden and forgotten.
But recently, in one of these adventures, he found a man who could not be overlooked.

While exploring the canal near his house, Michael and his buddies decided to stop and take some photos of the interesting graffiti on the walls. However, this stop resulted in Michael saving his life.
Just minutes later his girlfriend called out to «the dog», the man was just shocked he could not believe there was a little white dog in that little side well. he was trapped;
Michael knew he had to do something
«I thought. «I can not leave this dog here.» If we leave this dog, he will die. »
So He tried to save him.

It took the dog about an hour to gain confidence and get close!
The dog was so scared and confused.

It is not clear how the dog got to this narrow spot, in a hard-to-reach corner of the storm sewer, but Michael thinks the dog would hardly have lived long if they had not found him. He gave him a second chance at a happy life.

They directly went to the vet, where they learned that the dog had some problems that needed treatment, for which Michael gladly paid.
«The doctor suggested that he may have been abused,» he said, adding that he still hoped the dog had owners who were looking for him. «There was no identity document. We called for shelters. We checked what was lost and found the nearest neighbors. »
No one seemed to be looking for the saved dog. So he named him Rusty.

Michael has since decided to adopt Rusty himself, making the puppy the sweetest treasure found in his years as an explorer.

«He is ours and that’s it,» he said. «He is connected with me. I do not know what his past was like, but I’m trying to make his future better. I’ve been doing it for 12 years, this is the craziest adventure I’ve ever had. I have never saved a life. Receiving his love instead is so pleasing»
