«I bambini più ‘nascosti’: come sono gli eredi di Rosie Huntington-Whiteley e Jason Statham?
Dog rescued, shackled in the snow, finally realized that she was safe
It is sometimes said that «hope is born forever» and it is hoped that keeps Roscoe afloat.
He was tied to straw in an abandoned house to keep warm. Every week his family came to give him some food. Roscoe maintained his hope even when he ran out of food and water and hoped that one day he would be rescued.
Things got even worse when it snowed in Illinois. Suddenly the dog wondered if he would live to see the morning.
As it turned out, someone looked after the puppy. The citizen called the Animal Shelter and reported what was happening with the little dog. Officer Vanessa and warden Michel wasted no time.
“They called us because it snowed the night before, and for southern Illinois, it was a lot of snow and very cold,” Vanessa said. «He was just shaking to death because he weighed less than 10 pounds.»
When Roscoe saw the officers arriving, he knew his troubles were over. “He was so happy to see us that he ran out,” She said.
Roscoe was wrapped in a blanket and taken to the car. For the first time in weeks, he warmed up. Roscoe was overjoyed: «He was so happy, you could say,» She added. «He just whined over and over.»
They fed the puppy biscuits and sauce, and then Roscoe relaxed in the arms of his savior.
Vanessa took a picture of the dog resting and posted it on Facebook with the caption: «We have a heated environment there and he has all his little blankets». «When he walks into the office, he’s so happy that he squirms and jumps on you.»
Roscoe still whines when his rescuers are around, just to let them know he’s still happy. «He makes this delicious whining sound like he’s talking to you,». «You know, I just feel like he has emotions and he’s grateful.»
