Dog abandoned in Walmart parking lot can’t stop hugging his rescuers

A sweet 4-year-old dog, named Clarence, can’t live without hugging everyone he meets and holding on to his caregivers, hoping they will never leave him.

He spent his whole life outside in his family’s yard, and then he was abandoned in a Walmart parking lot and left.

There, the golden retriever mix met 2 other abandoned dogs, a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua mix.

Animal Control finally caught the dog and his German Shepherd friend and contacted their owner. But when the owner refused to come after him, Clarence was put on the euthanasia list.

Luckily, Hounds In Pounds arrived just in time to save Clarence and the German Shepherd and find them the home they deserved. Although the dog has had a rough start in life, he holds no grudge against people and is full of love.

The big, furry dog gets along with everyone he meets, including other puppies, cats and children.

In the coming days, Clarence will travel from Georgia to New Jersey to begin his search for his new home.

And his rescuers believe that this malleable fellow will bring joy to any family lucky enough to adopt him.

He’s pretty lazy, so a cuddle partner will be perfect for him.
