Deaf and blind dog immediately recognized his grandfather after a year of separation

When Hayden brought the dog home five years ago, her father had some concerns. He was worried about what kind of life the 5-week-old deaf and blind pup would have and whether she would be able to walk on her own.
But fears were dispelled as soon as he met an energetic, carefree dog.

The dog is far from the helpless dog her grandfather imagined. She traveled the country with her mom – hiking, canoeing, riding the subway, and even skateboarding. She is the cutest, friendliest, most loving, and most loyal dog in the world.

A father loves his grandson more than he could ever imagine and they spend time together whenever they have the chance.

But when COVID restrictions went into effect last year, life for the dog and her mom slowed down. Among the hardest changes for them was that they had to be separated from their family.

After such a long separation, he was worried that his dog would not remember. But nothing could be further from the truth.
