Baby zebra and orphaned Rhino became close friends in the shelter
The tiny zebra Modjadji and an orphaned rhino cub Dazy first met each other at the For Wild Rhino Sanctuary.
The tiny rhino was found in the Kruger National Park weak and struggling as he was just one day old. He needed much care and treatment. So rangers took her to the sanctuary.
In the similar way the zebra was found motionless and hardly breathing on the street in a rainy and stormy weather. She was also transported to the shelter.
This two orphaned babies encountered each other there and became close friends. They created a small family. As they grew and became strong, their bond turned more affecrionate and powerful.
They are always together. They feel a great love and care towards each other. The two babies even sleep hugging and warming one another. The adorable couple now is being treated and need a good care yet. And we hope that they will run freely and feel much healthier soon.
