An American photographer adopted a Somalian girl 20 years ago. Today she is a real beauty
Popular American photographer John Kerry travels around the world taking unique and unusual pictures.
So 20 years ago he went to Africa for inspiration and new emotions. Then he visited one of the poorest countries, Somalia, he wandered the streets and photographed everything that piqued his interest. At that moment he noticed a little girl sitting on the ground. He was struck by the depth of her eyes, in which he could see all the sadness of her fate, and he couldn’t resist and took a picture of the little girl.
After a while, when John had the picture ready, he decided to take it to the girl’s parents.
Unfortunately, he could not find them. The man asked people in the street about the baby’s family and found out she lived alone. Carrie was shocked. He couldn’t think of anything else to do for the little girl he had seen once in the street. The photographer made the decision to take her with him.
Of course, there were a lot of difficulties. But everything worked out for him. He had already returned to the U.S. with the baby girl. He saved her from loneliness, hunger, and cold, and was able to give her a full, happy life.
Twenty years have passed since then. The little girl has grown up to be a real beauty.
