After being rescued frightened dog melts in woman’s arms
Abandoned to her own devices on the side of a desert road, this small dog had every reason to feel scared. But in spite of the sad ordeal, the puppy’s instinct for trust and love was never far from the surface.
Not long ago, animal rescuer Georgiana Neagu shared heartbreaking footage of the moment she came across a little dog on a road in Romania.
The terrified dog can be seen running towards Neagu after she stopped the car. Apparently, the trauma the dog had endured made him doubt that anyone would treat him kindly.
But when the doggie was brought to safety, she soon blossomed: she licked Neaga, as if in gratitude for helping her feel safe and become herself again.

How the dog appeared in that dangerous place, we’ll never know for sure. But one thing is clear: Her future never looked rosier now. They named her Paula. She plays a lot and will be with Neagu until she finds a loving home. She’s about 11 months old.
