A woman adopted two girls with special needs and now they are simply unrecognizable
A teacher in an American school, Kristen Williams, was still unmarried and had no children at her age. But one day while she was in India, she met a little girl named Mooney, who had a huge scar on her forehead and because of it no one wanted to adopt her.
Kristen realized that she couldn’t go home without the baby and after a while she adopted her. At first, Mooney was very shy, but the woman still found a way to approach her and was able to melt her heart.
A few years later, Kristen adopted another baby girl named Durga. Durga had been found in a junkyard. In her short life, she had suffered a lot. Her face was disfigured, she had almost no nose, presumably because of the insects and stray animals she encountered living on the streets.
One day someone posted the family’s story on social media, and then it was all over television. So Kristen and her daughters became known to many people and wanted to help them.
Plastic surgeons at a local hospital offered to do surgery for Mooney for free. Now she doesn’t have a big, scary scar on her forehead, but just a barely noticeable line.
And Durga decided to have the surgery at an older age, and meanwhile she was fitted with an aesthetic prosthesis, with which she is no different from other children.
This woman gave them warmth, affection, care and love and hopefully she will inspire many people to do good things.
