A man dedicated his life to adopting older animals that are overlooked in shelters
Here is Steve, an animal lover, and the kindest person. He is far from the average pet owner because he just can’t stop taking older dogs and farm animals. For this reason, he always had many pets, and usually, three or four dogs are kept in his house at the same time.
A man started embracing needy animals after one of his dogs passed away. He determined to do something to honor his puppy, so he went to a local shelter and asked for the «least acceptable» adult dog. He wanted to give this dog a chance at a good life because he was overlooked and couldn’t find a permanent home.
Now he has 10 elderly dogs, a pig, as well as two ducks, pigeons, cats, and several chickens. At the moment he no longer has a place for pets, but in the future, he will take more adult dogs.
His schedule is filled with walks in the park, trips to the vet, grooming, and lots of love and hugs. A typical day for him is to get up early in the morning and prepare breakfast for everyone.
He also has accounts with thousands of followers. People from all over the world follow his family and look forward to updates and posts. The man is happy that his page can show people how great it is to take in older animals.
You sort of know what you want out of life when you reach a certain age. These dogs know who they are and it is easy to form a relationship with a person or pet who knows who they are. It’s just nice to know that these guys are happy, loved, and well taken care of. It makes my days useful.»
