A little boy befriends a deer and gets more than he bargained for in return

Deer are known to be herbivores, so when they visit your yard, expect them to eat your garden plants.
Although deer are usually wary and shy of people, some deer like to fool around with people, especially young ones.

This story is about a beautiful meeting of a charming fallow deer who seems to have taken a liking to a little boy.

When two babies from two different species collide, it’s nothing short of sheer cuteness.
On a fine sunny day, a child stands next to a watering can — well, rather, a bucket for a watering can. But he is joined by a charming, unexpected companion.

It’s a curious deer!
Judging by her perky demeanor, this doe wants to play! Unfortunately, Baby has been assigned some gardening work. He just wants to take the green bucket and go. He looks at the garden tool, but the doe has other plans.

The child reaches for the container, but is met with a wet surprise!
The little deer greets the boy with an ear lick. The child recoils in surprise, continuing to massage the licked ear.

The little boy is still determined to do what he has to do.
He didn’t bat an eyelid as he continued to focus on the watering can.

The fawn does not allow the little boy to do his own thing, she decides to stay and play with the baby.
Baby Boy is getting ready, contemplating his next move. How can he get the bucket?

The child is trying to reason with his curious companion.

The kid comes up with a new strategy, slowly approaching the green bucket. The female is looking forward to it.

He approaches cautiously, holding out his hand and shouting.
The little boy just wants his bucket so he can water the plants, but this persistent doe wants to play.

Baby Boy stretches out his hands, finally grabbing the doe’s snout with his tiny little hands.
The baby does not mind and allows the baby to take a closer look at her.

They are already very comfortable with each other as if they have been friends for many years.
The kid carefully releases his soft grip and again reaches for the watering can. More love comes from an adorable deer.

Baby Boy struggles to grab the bucket but is quickly met with soft kisses from a doe on each attempt. She guards the bucket with her caress! This doe is so cute! The meeting between this baby and a deer cannot but rejoice. Baby Boy graciously accepts the love, but then tries to revolve around his dear reindeer friend. Finally got a chance to grab the bucket. These flowers are not going to water themselves!
The sparse patches of grass in the backyard hint at incredibly dry conditions. Just no time to waste! I’m not sure if this doe even recognizes the bucket, she just wants to play like any normal young deer!  Looks like little Doe has a little crush on this boy.

Babies of all kinds are adorable. They are cute and curious from day one.
This baby and the adorable doe get along like lifelong friends. They are incredibly comfortable with each other, even when they are not on the same wavelength. This only proves that these «wild animals» are not wild. Some just walk by to get a good look at what’s inside the human territory. While some, like this doe, just want to play and have fun with human babies.
