A dog with a crooked face and a heart of gold finds the family he was made to love

Recovery from damage is not still smooth and easy, and neither is the damages or scars they leave behind. A bad fall will either keep you home for a week or make it impossible for you to walk again.

This dog walks beautifully, but the grizzly’s quarrel with another dog left an imprint on its muzzle.

Woody, that’s the name of this pup, was injured when he was a pup.
Because the bones in the puppies’ heads had not yet fused and fully progressive, his skull healed but ended up being slightly deformed. This left him with a twisted, one-sided face.

Although it looks much poorer than it is. Woody can live, breathe, eat and drink normally. He just looks a little funny.
His wry face is quite cute.

Even more attractive is Woody himself, who turned out to be incredibly sweet and loving. He had the playful nature of a puppy even though he was almost a year old. Even his permanently deformed face could not dampen his happiness.

As cute as his face was, unfortunately, there were a few people who didn’t see him like that. His original owners in Tennessee abandoned him after moving out of their home.

Woody was alone and chained up.
It’s hard to tell if his wry face was one of the reasons he was dumped, but either way, it’s sad.
The people must have been feeding him scraps and scraps, as he wasn’t skinny or hungry when they found him. And who found it? Nothing less than animal recovery and rehabilitation

It took a while before one of the locals thought of calling the rescue organization for Woody, but it paid off.

Courtney, a worker, shared details about Woody and his rescue. First of all, about how touching his story was and how he stood out. This puppy was full of love from day one and Kourtney felt it right away.

«It’s just that you look at him and you can’t help but love him because of that face,» Courtney said

The household that Woody is from didn’t seem to educate him, in addition to the fact that they didn’t take him to the vet either. Kourtney shared that Woody was quite naughty, even if he meant well.

The one-of-a-kind pit bull was too playful, and he turned out to be something of a handful for them.

However, he eventually learned etiquette.

“In just five days in foster care, he is so calm and doing well because he gets everything he needs. He’s a sweet boy and he’s very happy that he can run and be in the house and everything.» Bellew said.

And when he eventually found a permanent home, his sweet personality was just as intoxicating. He was already always worried about his new mother. His new mom, Jamie Bond, caught a bad fever in the first few days with her.

Woody was very worried and did not leave her all the time.
“He knew something was wrong and never left my side. All-day he snuggled up to me on the couch. Now he’s my shadow, always following me wherever I go, making sure I’m safe and sound. Woody loves to curl up on the bed and put his head on my chest.»

Woody is a perfect example of why you shouldn’t judge by looks. That, and you’re no less attractive, no matter how other you may look.
