A dog abandoned in Russia has walked 200 kilometers to return home
There are people who take a dog just for the purpose of leaving it one nice day. The same thing happened with a cute Maru — a one-year-old bullmastiff. It was returned to the kennel because of the supposed allergy from the owner.
A couple from Krasnoyarsk brought Maru 6 month ago. But soon the owner called the kennel and said that she would send the dog back. And as the result, the owner of the surgery Alla Morozova took the pet back.
Alla explained the situation like this. » I’ve never left my puppies to fate. I decided that it would be better the dog came back to me than to be thrown out into the streets.»
But there was a different idea in Maru’s mind. During the transportation back to Novosibirsk, she could handly escape from the carriage when the train stopped at a remote station near Achinsk. The guides who took care of the rejected dog were shouting her name on the platform but it was pointless.
After Maru got away, her owner was called and asked to help in finding her. But she refused. Maru was a burden on her shoulder. And her ecape was a good chanse to avoid the responsibilities.
The owner of the surgery, Alla Morozova, organized a search for the missing bullmastiff in Novosibirsk and contacted social networks for information.
It was a shocking to learn that after two and a half days later the dog which was haggard and wounded was found near her owner’s home, who threw her away.
Alla said that it was a good fortune that the dog was not attacked by bears or wolves during the trip, and it was suspected that she run away along the railway track to her home.
The dog managed to overcome 200 kilometers, her paws were damaged, and her snout was injured. She was terribly exhausted, and her eyes were all in tears.
Maru leaves in kennel with her mom and dad in Novosibirsk now and is recovering after a great hardship.
After this difficulty that she has been through she really deserves to have a caring and warm-hearted owners. And we hope that they will be found.
