A Canadian Noticed a kitten and Decided to Help. But There is No Way to Keep a Kitty Like that at Home

If you can’t walk past homeless animals on the streets and your kids always bring puppies and kitties to your place, these are, without a doubt, kind actions, but you have to look out. Sometimes little animals aren’t what they seem to be at all. That’s how Matthew Patry from Quebec, Canada, was riding on his mountain bike when he saw something small and fluffy on a wood highway. Taking a closer look, he noticed that it was a kitten. Canadian stopped to help the baby, but it turned out to be not something you would take home.

«I saw his paws and immediately realized that it was a lynx. Then I noticed small round ears and then a small tail. I was very surprised that it was a lynx,» the man said. Still, Matthew had no idea whether lynx was an orphan or his mom was somewhere near, and she obviously would not be happy to meet a human being.

But the man could not stop thinking about the little being and decided to return to the forest the next day. Lynx was in the same place, yet this time he was crying and screaming, and his mother was nowhere to be seen.

In the Zoo, Matthew explained how the lynx should be fed with milk until professional care comes.

The lynx is smaller and weaker than it should be at this time of the year.

Zoo will shelter the wild cat till it becomes stronger and then will set him free.

In this way, the lynx got a chance to lead a normal lynx life. Matthew, on the other hand, is happy that he offered a helping hand «I am glad that he is safe and that he is doing well. I am so happy that he will survive. He’s very handsome.»
